OTP code not arriving
This is the most common complaint. The verification code (OTP) is sent by SMS to the mobile number registered to your Absher account, so if it's not arriving, the cause is usually one of these:
- Wrong number on file: the OTP goes to your registered number, not whichever phone you're holding. They must match.
- SIM not in your name: if the number isn't registered to your own ID, verification can fail.
- No signal or SMS blocking: check coverage and that messages aren't filtered.
- Temporary delay: wait a minute and request the code again rather than spamming the button.
Account locked
Several wrong password attempts in a row can temporarily lock your account as a security measure. This is normal and protective, not a sign your account is compromised. The usual path back in is to wait a short while, then use the password reset option. If it stays locked, you may need full account recovery, which verifies your identity before restoring access.
Forgotten username or password
If you can't remember your credentials, don't keep guessing — that risks locking the account. Instead, use the username/password recovery link on the official login screen. App or browser errors
Sometimes the account is fine and the problem is the app or browser. Quick things to try:

Details don't match records
If the system rejects your information during login or recovery, the data you enter may not exactly match official records — a different number format, an outdated detail, or a typo. Double-check everything against your Iqama, and if a genuine mismatch exists in the records, it may need correcting through the proper channel before access works smoothly.
